Adaiah is two months old today!! It is hard to believe how fast the time has gone by. I went back to work this week and was quite sad. Grandma Joyce and daddy are watching her when I am at work. She has changed so much in the last eight weeks and is getting cuter and cuter everyday:) She goes in for her two month check up on Thursday so we will be able to see how much she has grown and mommy will have to bring the kleenex....shots for my baby girl:( Here are a few pictures from today and this past weekend. Both sets of Grandparents were around all weekend helping out around the house and visiting with us...were are very fortunate to have such a great family that gets along so well. We appreciate all that you do for us!

7 weeks old!

So it is official I am TERRIBLE with blogging! Adaiah is going to be 7 weeks on Thursday and this is only my second post since she has been born! We have all been doing well and she is getting bigger and cuter by the day! We have been battling tummy problems the last two weeks, which has made her pretty miserable and daddy and I pretty heartbroken:( Around 5 weeks old Adaiah became very cranky and would scream for 1-2 hours straight! It was a pretty rough 2 weeks....first we thought she was colicky, but every time she ate you could feel and hear her tummy gurggling. She put her on soy formula for the last 72 hours and she is a totally different baby! It was pretty hard to get anything done because she always wanted to be held and as soon as you put her down she would wake up! What a stinker! She is gaining weight and is now up to 8 lbs 10 oz and is 22 inches long according to her doctor visit two weeks ago. We were able to get out and visit the grandparents, we took Adaiah to her first wedding and also made our way to a couple soccer games and a football game. So our baby girl is finally here! It is amazing how fast the time goes! She is already 17 days old and I am just getting my first post up of her! Adaiah Aaron was born Thursday, August 20 at 6:30 pm. She missed her due date by 5 1/2 hours! She weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 19.5 inches long. She has blue eyes and a lot of dark brown hair! She is an absolutely wonderful baby and Shaun and I could not be happier! She was very good to me during labor...I only had to push for an hour and 20 minutes and out she came. My contractions started at about 7:00 am..we had a doctors appointment that day at 9:45 am so we tried to hold off as long as we could, but they were getting closer together so we headed to our appointment a bit earlier and I was already 4 cm dilated! The doctor said you guys are going to have this baby today...we are sending you over to the hospital! I took the car over with Shaun and we were admitted by 9:50am. The contractions started to get more intense so I had an epidural, which slowed things down a bit. At 2:00pm I had my water broke and by 5:10pm I was pushing. The entire experience was so amazing! So Shaun and I went to the doctor this afternoon and I was expecting the same old routine, but the doctor checked me and I am 1 cm dilated. She said we should have our baby girl within a week! She figured she was about 7-7.5 lbs and said that if I went to my due date she would be over 8 lbs! We go back to the doctor on Thursday and we will see what she says then if we have not already met our daughter! Reality set in for Shaun when she said a week! He is hoping that we can make it thru Tuesday...he has three golf outings in the next 4 days! We will keep you posted!!

37 weeks and counting!!

So I am finally updating this thing and it will probaby be the last time until Adaiah Aaron arrives. I will try to get better with this thing when she gets here!! August 21 is approaching quickly and we are all set for her to join our family. Last week Shaun and I took lamaze, this past Monday we went and toured the hospital as well as preregistered for the big day! It is definitely getting harder to sleep at night and even harder to bend over! It sure will be nice to bend over again and not feel like I am going to burst! We go to the doctor tomorrow morning and as of Friday I will be 37 weeks along. Below are a couple belly pictures from this past Sunday and a few pictures of her room. We are waiting for her dresser to come in, but that is it!

Baby Update

It has been awhile so I thought I better give an update...our little girl has been moving around like crazy! She went to her second concert on Saturday night and slept through the entire show! Of course when we got home from Keith Urban she had me up for a good two hours!! I guess she is getting me ready for reality. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the camera so when I do I will update my belly picture. My guess is that Shaun has it at work. That is where most of our electronics end up:) It is definitely getting bigger and she is making it much harder for me to bend over! It is hard to believe I am finishing up my second trimester this week!! She will be here in no time!! I guess we better get going on her room!! I hope everyone is doing well!! Congrats to Laura and Dave for having a beautiful baby boy!!! We can't wait to meet him!!

The Verdict Is In!!!

So Shaun and I went in for our ultrasound last Thursday and found out we are having a little GIRL!!! All of her measurements look great and my due date has not changed at all. We are still looking at meeting our little girl August 21...if she is like her mom she will be here on her due date, but if she is like her daddy they will be inducing me:) We have many pictures of our little girl, but unfortunately they are not on our camera so I need to get them onto a disk and then I will post them. As of this Friday I will be 21 weeks along...the belly is starting to kick in. Thank goodness I can wear warm up pants!!! Our next appointment is scheduled for May 1, I will make sure I post pictures before then!! Thank you to everyone who voted...looks like the women won again!!! I told Shaun that he left the house last Thursday with one girl and came back with two:) He told me he will no longer have any pull in our house and I think that is going to be pretty true. Have a wonderful Easter!!!

Pilates!!

So Shaun and I had another appointment yesterday and were able to hear the baby again. The heart rate was down to 154 from 175 at the previous appointment. The baby was extremely active when we were listening. The doctor said it must be morning pilates time!! The baby was kicking like crazy....I think that means he/she is going to be a soccer player! We post poned our next appointment one week so we can get an ultrasound next time we go in. Our appointment is scheduled for April 2 so hopefully we will be able to find out if we are having a little boy or little girl!! Tomorrow is my 15 week mark so next time we go in I will be 20 weeks!! Time is flying by!!!

Baby Rezacheks Heart Beat

Shaun and I had our second doctor's appointment today and we were able to hear the heart beat!! The doctor said it was very strong!!! I have been feeling great!! I have been feeling so good it is hard to believe I am pregnant. I am just about 11 weeks along. Hearing the heart beat made it official!! Our next appointment is scheduled for the end of February. So it is official......Shaun and I are going to finally be PARENTS!! My due date is August 21. I have been feeling good...no morning sickness, just really tired. I am not much of a napper and now I have a new hobby:) We had our first doctors appointment on New Years Eve and the doctor said everything looks good so far. Our next appointment is January 28 where we will be able to listen for the heart beat!! I can't wait!!! More to come.....

Long Time Passing!!

I know I am terrible with my blog!!! Shaun and I have been keeping busy...we had our annual Halloween party Nov. 1, we went to Minnesota to visit our friends Shawn, Ken and Austin and saw my favorite band Coldplay!! It was nice to get away!! Shaun and I are going to Florida in January for 5 days, which I am pretty excited for...he is going to play in a tournament and I get to go and relax:) Thanksgiving was wonderful as always....my mother and mother-in-law out did themselves as usual! My brother bought a house in September so he hosted Thanksgiving, but the moms cooked:) I recently excepted the position of Girls Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Ashwaubenon High School... I am pretty excited! That will be team number 3 for me!!! I need to have kids so I can retire:) I hope everyone is doing well!! Miss you all!!

So Shaun and I had the privilege of standing up in a wedding last weekend. Shaun was the bestman and I was a bridesmaid. It was a full weekend of fun. Friday was the rehearsal and Saturday was the wedding. It was at Fox Hills Resort in Mishicot. Here are a few pictures of the wonderful event!!

Shaun and I had some fun with family and friends last weekend. We went to the third annual cousins Brewer game with the Steinhardt cousins and saw an exciting 1-0 win!!! Actually the game wasn't too exciting and I only saw the beginning of the game, but we had a blast!!

Illinois Visit

SO I took a few days off and went to visit Ryan, Jenny, Reese and met Chase! It was nice to see them all and get my baby fix!:) I got to catch up on Tarzan as well as my farm animals. Reese is too funny, she is talking so much and is doing a great job of trying to go potty on the potty! I did get to experience the not sleeping phase that Reese is in the first night I was there. I am glad Jenny warned me or I would have thought someone was breaking in upstairs!!

Chase is such a good baby...eats, sleeps and doesn't complain too much when he is being held all the time:) I only had about 48 hours with him!!!

HI EVERYONE!!! My lovely friend and college roommate had a son this morning!!
He was 9 pounds 2 ounces, 21 inches long and his name is Chase Patrick Staniak.

SO Shaun and I decided that it was too depressing to put gas in the Navigator so we traded it in and I got a new CAR!!! I love it!! It is a 9-3 Saab and it runs sooo smoothly!! There are some pictures below.

I have offically become part of the blogging world!!! Work is starting to slow down for me, but of course it is golf season and Shaun is back in full swing again. He has opened up his own golf shop at his course called Shaun's Golf Shop. He was really creative with the name! He is excited and happy with his decision. Life is good, but busy. My state league team has started their season, but due to this crappy spring weather we have had games and pratices cancelled left and right. Hopefully the snow, cold and rain will stay away so that the fields can dry out!!! Have a great week!
